Patriots Day - From Then to Now - Lexington and Concord

Sam Doran has been digging into Lexington history since his childhood growing up in the home of a minuteman.  A news reporter at the State House by trade, Doran still enjoys exploring Lexington's past and its connections to modern day.  As the Sestercentennial of April 19th, 1775 approaches, he will speak to Rotary about the evolution of April 19th or Patriots' Day as a celebratory occasion, and the historic ways that local people have marked the day over the past 249 years.
