Our meal today could be described as BBQ Fare and delicious, as usual.

Raffle Gifts donated by: President Dan Olsen, Arlex Oil, Youville Place and PP Don Martini.
The pledge of Allegiance was led by PP Spencer Betts, First Verse of America by PSA Charlie Vail, the Invocation by PP Don Sherman and the Welcome song by PSA Charlie Vail.
President Dan Olsen called the meeting to order and welcomed everyone.
Fines and Happy Dollars:
- President Dan Olsen had happy dollars because his wife is back home from the hospital.
- PSA Charlie Vail had happy dollars for his 54th wedding anniversary.
- PP Spencer Betts had happy dollars for spending a week with his family on vacation.
- PP Domenic Sicari had happy dollars for his upcoming 38th wedding anniversary.
- One table with no guests was fined.
- PP Dan Busa fined PP Nick C. for having to register two people on his behalf for an event.
Announcements:
- We received thank you notes from the Live for Liv foundation and Friends Forever.
- PP Frank S. reminded everyone about the Social Cookout at his home on July 25th and he has rescinded the invitation for four legged friends because his own are not invited.
- PP Dan Olsen reminded us that District Governor Joan Arsenault will visit our Club on August 19th and he would like a good showing of Rotarians to welcome her.
- Spinners game seats are still available behind home plate, we have 5 Rotarians already attending along with their spouses.
- New members are reminded to use the Rotary App.
- President Dan Olsen announced that we need more raffle items to raffle off.
- We also have an Amazon button on our website which allows us to shop with our own account while Amazon gives Rotary a percentage of what you purchase.
- Last but not least, President Dan Olsen announced that Ugur Ergun has been nominated, and he accepted, as the Second Vice President! Congratulations Ugur!

Our speakers today were Jane Marie Baker- Director of Marketing for Artis Senior Living and Carla Koehl Director of Community Relations for Artis.
Jane Marie and Carla introduced Artis Senior Living located at 430 Concord Ave. which is a state of the art memory care facility. It opened in April and is a for profit family owned facility. Artis Specializes in memory care with 72 pre-furnished apartments available.
Jane Marie and Carla have invited everyone to their Summer Backyard BBQ for Civic Leaders on July 16th and for a group tour at our leadership’s convenience.
