District Governor Addressing Rotary Club of Lexington

Terry joined Rotary in 2007 and served as President of the Club multiple times from 2011-2013, 2014-2015, and 2016-2018. During this time she successfully co-wrote and executed five district managed grant serving worthy individuals in the Boston area. She proudly served on the Club’s Board of Directors for ten years and also served as Club Foundation Chair, Membership Chair, Public Image Chair, and Webmaster. In addition, Terry has been the chair of the Club’s major fundraiser, the Paul Harris Dinner since 2010.

 

For District 7930, Terry joined the District Club Visioning Committee at its inception in 2014 and has served in many capacities. In 2015, she was appointed District Alumni Chair and in 2016 served as an Assistant Governor.   After traveling to Cebu City, Philippines on a Rotaplast Mission in 2017, District Governor Robert Wood (2018-19) asked Terry to be the District Rotaplast Chair for the following year. In that position, Terry spearheaded the fundraising for the successful 2018  Cebu City mission, which she also led. For Rotary Year 2018-19, Terry served as Governors Aide/Chief of Staff to DG Bob Wood and also served on the District Foundation Polio subcommittee.  As DGN in 2019-2020, she took on the responsibilities to serve as Co-chair of the District Membership Committee, Rotary Fellowship Chair, Foundation Grants Subcommittee Chair, District Nominating Committee, District Finance/Budget Committee, the District Council and Co-Chaired the District Rotaplast Mission.   She is also a multiple Paul Harris Fellow.

 

Terry has a B.S. in Management from the University of Massachusetts, Boston. She lives in Roslindale and is the proud parent of two adult children, Cassandra and Daniel.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

District Governor, Terry Curran, will address the Rotary Club of Lexington.  She will meet with the Board and will address the club general meeting.  District Governor Terry will bring us up-to-date on important matters as they relate to District 7930, including the Rotary Club of Lexington as it interplays into district matters and participation.  She, as well, will be available to answer and discuss any other Rotary matters of interest brought up by members of the Rotary Club of Lexington.  All members are encouraged to attend this important meeting!
